Tomato Harvest

The smell and taste of a homegrown tomato always transports me back to summer. The earthy snap of the stem. The sweet burst of flavor. I chose lemon yellow and olive green to suggest the brightness and intensity of a summer day and the warmth of the garden. This piece is rooted in that rich sensory memory.

The piece consists of two 20 x 20 inch linen canvases. They are intended to be displayed on the wall with a small gap between the pieces.
